4-Way to 5-Way Adapter Recommendation for 2013 BMW X5 with ZCI 4-Way

Question:

Hello, I have purchased a Modulite ZCI #119251 for my 2013 BMW X5. My boat trailer has surge brakes with a lockout solenoid operated off a five pin flat connector. Is there a five pin version, or some other way to power this solenoid when backing up without causing a lighting error code on this cars computer? Thank you,

The adapter you are looking for is the part # 20036. This plugs into your vehicle's 4-way connector and then after connecting the fifth wire to your reverse light circuit allows you to have a circuit that will activate your reverse lockout solenoid on your surge brake actuator.
