What is Needed to Install Curt Venturer Brake Controller in 2007 GMC Sierra New Body?

Do I need anything extra to install to my 2007 GMC Sierra?

If you have the factory 7-way on your 2007 GMC Sierra New Body you can install the Curt Venturer Trailer Brake Controller # C74VV with just the Universal Wiring Adapter for Curt Trailer Brake Controllers # C51515.
Should your truck not have a factory 7-way you will still need the adapter, but you will also need to add Connector # PK11898 or, if your Sierra has a round plug with a cap instead of a bundle of wires above the spare tire, use part # 30955 instead. There is going to be a bundle of wires under the left side of the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column which you will need to connect.
