Is the 10 Gauge Wire from the Brake Controller Kit # ETBC7 Sufficient to Power a Refrigerator
Question:
Is the 10ga wiring in this kit sufficient to run a 3-way fridge in a tent-trailer while under tow? Or should I consider running a heavier wire for that purpose? Thanks!

In order to determine if the 10 gauge wire would be sufficient to power the 3-way fridge in your tent-trailer you will need to know the amperage draw of the refrigerator.
The 10 gauge wire from this Brake Controller Installation Kit, # ETBC7, has a 40 amp circuit breaker that will be on the circuit. If the fridge draws more amperage than that it will trip the circuit breaker and you will not be able to run the refrigerator. If the amperage is lower than 40 amps you should not have a problem using the 10 gauge wire from the kit.
