What Is Needed to Use the Curt True Course Electronic Sway Control System Part # C94VV
Question:
I have a 2008 Dodge Ram dually with oem trailer towing PKG. I want to tow a 30foot travel trailer with your plug and play anti-swayfoot GPS/ gyro unit. What other braking equipment do I need so the trailer stops progressively and your Hayes electric anti-sway unit work together for my safety? Do I need an additional progressive brake unit?

Expert Reply:
As long as your trailer has electric or electric-over-hydraulic brakes and the tow vehicle has a has a fully functioning 7-way then the Curt Electronic Sway Control System part # C94VV will work well for you. You will not need any sort of progressive braking assembly or kit.
If you don't already have a brake controller, I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 which is one of our best selling brake controllers due to its ease of use and integrated safeguards. You can use part # 3020-P for a direct plug and play install.
