Troubleshooting RVS-83112 Wireless Camera and Monitor System
Question:
It only stays on for a minute then shuts off . I just put a new battery in it.

The Rear View Safety Wireless Hitch Camera # RVS-83112 is designed to automatically shut off after 15 minutes to conserve your battery. Because you are having issues with it shutting off prematurely, you may have a pairing issue or there may be an issue inside the camera itself. Since you put a new battery in it already, that removes the weak battery possibility.
If you are having further issues outside of the pairing of the camera and it just shuts down, if you are within the 1 year warranty then contact the manufacturer. If you are outside of that warranty, you will want to purchase another camera.
