I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13358 which is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2" receiver that is confirmed to fit a 2013 Mercedes-Benz 2500 Sprinter with a 144 inch Wheelbase and a factory step bumper.
This trailer hitch is rated for 5,000 lbs Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) and 500 lbs Tongue Weight (TW). Then used with a weight distribution system those ratings are increased to 7,500 lbs GTW and 750 lbs TW. Be sure to check the weight ratings of your 2500 in your owner's manual. If your Sprinter has lower weight ratings then that is what you need to go by.
I have attached an installation video that you can use for a reference. If you let me know what you will be using the trailer hitch for I can make additional recommendations if necessary.
