How to Carry a 70 Pound Bike on a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

If this can carry two bikes at 35# each, could it carry one bike at 70#?

The single bike capacity of the Yakima SpareRide # Y02599 is still going to be 35 pounds. In order to carry a 70 pound bike you will need a trailer hitch mounted bike rack, like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider for E-bikes # HLY84FR, which has an 80 pound per bike capacity.
If you do not have a hitch on your 2014 jeep Wrangler Unlimited then I recommend Draw-Tite hitch # DT78MR because the receiver sticks out further than other options which means a bike rack is more likely to clear the spare tire.
