Will the Install of Curt T-Connector # C56320 on a 2017 Ford Escape be Similar to a 2018 Escape
Question:
Greetings, Love your videos! Clear and informative. Thank you. Do you know if the 2018 wiring harness install is different at all from the 2017 escape video you have done? Grommets still in the same places, etc. Also, do you sell any modifications for the hands free factory lift gate option that would move or add to the sensors? Thanks, 2018 Ford Escape Titanium

Glad to hear that the install video of the Curt T-Connector # C56320 on a 2017 Ford Escape helped you!
We haven't had the chance to install the Curt harness on a 2018 version as of yet, but since they are still the same generation everything should be in the same place. You can double check on your Escape to make sure. If you don't want to store the 4-Way in your hatch or have it hanging below your bumper I recommend the Mounting Bracket # 18144. For a no-drill application also use part # 18140.
We do not have any modifications for moving the sensors for your hands free liftgate but I have spoken with our manufacturers about other models and they say that when a trailer hitch is installed, like the popular Draw-Tite # 75758, you simply need to kick in a forward motion to the left or right of the hitch receiver to activate the lifegate.
Some installation videos have been linked for you to check out.
