Recommendation For Two Cargo Boxes On One Rack On a 2010 Subaru Outback
Question:
Is it ok to put 2 Yakima Sky Box 12s on my 2010 Subaru Outback. The total weight of the boxes is 82 lbs so I would have another 67 lbs to play with and still be within the original rack capacity.

You can use Yakima Sky Box 12 Rooftop Cargo Boxes, Item # Y07334, on your Subaru Outback so long as you do not exceed the weight capacity of your vehicle and/or rack. You will also need to be able to safely and securely mount each box to both the crossbars and the roof rack. One thing to check is the width which will be 24 inches per Sky Box or 48 inches total width. The Yakima Sky Box 12 can open from either side so access will not be a challenge.
