Recommended Vehicle Wiring Harness for 2000 Toyota Rav4
Question:
I own a 2000 Toyota Rav4- I would like to install a 4 wire trailer light kit is there a connection point in the rear storage compartment on these models and what wire harness kit can I get which I could install myself model # & cost of?

Expert Reply:
For your 2000 Rav4, you will need the Curt T-Connector # C55486. The connectors on the harness will plug inline with the connectors behind your tail light assemblies. You will need to access the rear of each tail light assembly, unplug the factory connector, and plug the wiring harness in between the factory connector and the tail light assembly.
