Based on your information, I recommend the B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider, Item # BWRVK3400-5W. You will also need the B&W Custom Underbed Installation Kit, Item # BWGNRK1108-5W. The Companion is one of the best fifth wheel hitches available and the slider feature works well with your truck. The Companion has a gross towing weight capacity of 20,000-lbs and a vertical load limit of 5,000-lbs. It has three height settings from 17 inches to 19 inches and has a 12 inch travel from front to back. The underbed kit allows you to have almost complete access to your truck bed. Since you have a gooseneck hitch now, another nice feature is that the underbed installation kit can also be used for a gooseneck hitch when you remove the Companion fifth wheel hitch. The durable and easy to use Companion is also built in the USA.

For a more economical fifth wheel slider hitch, I recommend the Reese Pro Series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch, Item # PS30121. You will also need the Reese Quick Installation Kit, Item # RP50082-58. This solid workhorse is great for short bed trucks like yours. It has adjustable hitch height settings from 13 inches to 17 inches and has a 10 inch travel from front to back. The Reese has a gross towing weight capacity of 20,000-lbs and a vertical load limit of 5,000-lbs. The Reese also has a 5-year limited warranty.

To make your life easier, I also recommend adding a wiring harness like Item # 50-97-410 that would give you a second functioning 7-Way trailer connection in the bed of your truck.

I have attached some articles and videos for you to check out that will assist you with your fifth wheel hitch selection.
