Wiring Needed to Install Trailer Brake Controller on 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with Factory 7-Way
Question:
I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that has the factory tow setup with 7 pin connector from the factory. I also have a Tekonsha P3, but only the controller, no wires or mounting bracket. Im trying to figure out what I would need to purchase so I can install everything. Thank you.

Since you already have a 7-Way connector installed on your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and have the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195 (great choice), you will just need some additional wiring to install it on the vehicle. For this, I recommend using the Wiring Kit # 5506. This kit includes the needed wiring for the power source and ground, as well as the circuit breakers that you will use to connect the wiring to your battery. There should be a coiled blue or light green wire under the Jeep's dash labeled "trailer brake", to which the red wire from the brake controller will connect.
I have attached an installation video for the 2017 model Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that you can use for reference. The process will be extremely similar for your Jeep.
For just the P3 mounting bracket, you can use part # TK5906.
