Trailer Hitch and Weight Distribution System Recommendation for 2013 Ford Explorer
Question:
I have a 2013 Ford Explorer 3.5 v6 not ecoboost, WITHOUT factory tow package. I need recommendations on which hitch receiver and equalizer hitch to get for towing a 4,700lb boat trailer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For a hitch for your 2013 Ford Explorer the Draw Tite Hitch part # 76034 is a confirmed fit that would work well. For a weight distribution system that works great with the capacities of this hitch the Strait Line kit part # RP66083 would be a great choice as it has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and features only sway control that works to fight sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
