Should Exhaust be in Original Position After Installing Curt # C13363 on a 2018 Jeep Compass

Question:

I just had this installed and it appears the muffler is slightly lowered and somewhat visible when standing upright. Is this how it is suppose to be after the install or should everything be tucked away back in its place?

If you can get the exhaust to sit in its original location after installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13363 on your 2018 Jeep Compass then that is what I recommend doing.

Sometimes after installing a trailer hitch the exhaust cannot be reinstalled in the same location without touching the trailer hitch. This produces some unwanted noise so if putting the exhaust in the original place makes it touch the trailer hitch then I wouldn't move it. It is perfectly fine right where it is at.

If you let me know what you will be using the trailer hitch for I can make additional recommendations if need be.
