Can the Flex-a-lite 1000 Airmover Multipurpose Fan # FLXCFM1000 be Used to Replace an AC Unit
Question:
I have a couple general questions about this product, Would this be an acceptable unit to use in replacement of an air conditioner used to cool a small insulated room? Specifically a DIY flower cooler. Are there adjustment options to regulate temperature or air flow? My husband is a motor head and suggested this product for my uses. : Thanks for your help!

I think that all depends on how cold you are needing your flower cooler to be.
The Flex-a-lite 1000 Airmover Multipurpose Fan # FLXCFM1000 has an airflow of 900 cubic feet per minute which is where the cooling effect comes into play. It doesn't have any adjustment options to regulate the temperature or airflow as it only has an on/off switch.
This unit cannot necessarily replace an AC unit but it does provide significant airflow that will help keep things cool.
We do have some air conditioners, like the Advent Air # ACM150, that fit the 14" x 14" opening in the roof of a trailer/RV but I am not sure if it will work for your application.
