Should Truck Suspension Sag be Taken Into Account When Setting Hitch Height To Tow Trailer Level

Question:

I read your advice on adjusting hitch height for towing a 5th wheel. I understand measuring height of king pin plate and height of tow plate on hitch but that doesnt account for the once the weight is lowered onto the hitch. Shouldnt you measure and set to that height ?

Yes, if the truck's suspension does sag significantly you'd need to consider that when determining the hitch height to allow the traile to tow level. Ideally though you'd use suspension enhancement to offset the sag you are referring to.
