2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ 6-1/2 foot bed for Towing Trailer with Reese Revolution Pinbox
Question:
Im trying to find a 5th wheel hitch for my Silverado 6 1/2 foot bed truck and the trailer Im buying has a Revolution Pinbox on it. The only thing the search brings up for my truck is slider hitches and Im told that its not a good idea to pull a 5th wheel with a Revolution Pinbox with a slider hitch. I know how the pinbox works and how they move the pivoting point from the 5th wheel plate back to the trailer. How do I go about searching for a 5th wheel with the Revolution pinbox? If I search the 8 foot box will those stationary hitches give me the correct hitches I am looking for, as in this hitch here - Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish Part Numbers: C16120,C16400-204

Basically all you need is a fixed hitch like the Curt A16 part # C16120 that you referenced and a rail kit confirmed to fit your 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 short bed like the # C16418-204 which is a custom rail kit confirmed as a fit for your truck.
Only thing else you need is the correct wedge part # C16992 which fits the hitch to your Reese Revolution pin box well.
