Can you use a cam style sway control system with 49586?

Since the spring bars of the Reese Weight Distribution System part # 49586 are totally straight without curved ends you can't use a dual cam style sway control with it since those system require bars that have curved ends.
You can use a friction sway control unit with this system like part # 83660 though.
