Curt Q24 Fifth Wheel Hitch that Fits 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 with Factory Rail Kit

Question:

Thanks for following up, I'm still going back and forth between the CURT and the B&W Companion, however, I'm looking to make my final decision in the next 2 weeks since our rig is about a month out from being delivered from the factory. Can you tell me the differences in the 2 hitches and which one maybe suited best for my setup?

We have a Curt Q24 fifth wheel hitch that is a confirmed fit for the factory rail kit of a 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500. For that you'd want the part # C16545-16025.

Lets say you had a Curt Q24 already though. You could swap the legs of it to the part # C16025 and you'd have a hitch that fits the rail kit without an adapter.

As long as the 20k capacity of the B and W Companion part # BWRVK3700 is adequate for your trailer it's the winner. Many refer to the Companion hitches as the nicest and best hitches you can buy so we recommend them highly here. Curt hitches aren't terrible by any means, but the Companion is just rock solid and will work very well for you.
