Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch # 87521 Recommendation for a 2011 Toyota Venza
Question:
I have a 1.25 Bike Rack and I want to add a Hitch to our new Venza to accept it. The Hitch instructions call for Auxilliary Stabilizing Straps. I have a concern with these straps - where do they attach to the vehicle. My concern is that the Venza has a stock plastic Rear Spoiler across the top of the Tailgate. So if the strap is supposed to hook to the upper flange of the Tailgate it will be pulled tight down over the Spoiler and will most likely damage it. I have looked for pictures showing how to attach but with no success.

I would recommend you get a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75663. This hitch does not require the use of a stabilizer strap when a bike rack is installed so you would not have to worry about installing one with damaging your spoiler.
I attached installation instructions for this hitch as well as an installation video for you to check out.
In order to reduce the 2 inch opening of the # 75663 to a 1-1/4 inch opening you will also need a Hitch Reducer # HT02. I attached a review video for you to check out also.
