Troubleshooting Brake Controller Function on 2012 Ram 2500 with Custom Wiring Harness
Question:
I have a 2012 ram 2500 and a curt triflex controller, I bought the adapter harness for the truck and I still have no trailer brakes but all the lights work on the trailer

Since your trailer lights are working, it sounds like you have simply blown a fuse. I recommend checking fuse J02 (30 amp pink cartridge fuse) in the engine bay fuse box. If this isn't the issue, then I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test your brake controller functions.
