Parts Needed to Install the Prodigy P2 # 90885 on a 2014 Jeep Wrangler w/o the Tow Package
Question:
Will this allow me to use my Prodigy P2 on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler?

Expert Reply:
If you don't have the tow package on your 2014 Jeep Wrangler then the Hopkins part # HM42635 is a good start but that is not all you will need for your Prodigy P2 # 90885 to properly work in your Jeep.
The Hopkins kit that you referenced will give you a 4-Way connector but you need a 7-Way connector. For that you need the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This includes everything needed to have a fully functional 7-Way on your Jeep. This will also allow you to use your P2 for towing your trailer.
I have attached an installation video on a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited as well as a helpful article that you can reference for the installation.
