Does the Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30922 Work on the Ford Hitch Prep Rails
Question:
I just bought a 2011 F-350 with the factory hitch prep. Is there any difference between the Ford Custom hitch and the Reese M5 that would require me to but the Ford Custom version in order to fit into the factory hitch prep?

Expert Reply:
This Reese M5 Series fifth-wheel trailer hitch # RP30922 would install right into the factory hitch prep underbed rails of your 2011 Ford F-350.
There is no reason that you would need to purchase the Ford custom version over this # RP30922.
I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
I also attached an FAQ article on the the Ford Hitch Prep packages.
