Recommended Tires and Wheels with Shorter Height than 7.00-15 Size Tires

Question:

Hello, I have acquired an older used gooseneck trailer that needs more clearance between the top of tire and the underside of deck. Currently has 7:00-15 tire/wheel with 6 bolt hub. What size would would give a shorter height? Thanks

Your current tires have an outer diameter of 29.4 inches. If you move to a different style tire you can get a little more clearance. I recommend the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range E # LHAW124 for your replacements. This tire has an overall diameter that is just over 1 inch shorter at 28.3 inches. This tire and wheel combination also comes with a 1 year warranty on the wheel, 5 year warranty on the tire, and 2 years of roadside assistance. It comes balanced and ready to install.

If you just want the tires for your current wheels, the tire is # LHWL304. Let me know if you have further questions.
