Weight Distribution System With Sway Control for a 3500 Pound and 7000 Pound Trailer

I have a solution for you, but the system for the 7000 pound trailer will be too rigid for the 3500 pound trailer, and cause the trailer to lose a lot of performance. Prior to purchase you'll want to verify your trailer's tongue weight to make sure that these systems are appropriate for your applications. I've included a help article about finding your tongue weight so you can verify your weights.
However, Blue Ox's weight distribution systems are built so that you can swap trunnion arms to adjust the same system to a different trailer weight, just by swapping the arms. For your situation, I recommend the following kit:
Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Hitch, 1,000 pound Tongue Weight, part # BXW1006
Blue Ox SwayPro Spring Bars, 550 pound Tongue Weight, part # BXW4005
2-5/16 Inch Hitch ball with 1-1/4 inch shank, part # 19286
2 Inch Hitch ball with 1-1/4 inch shank, part # A-90
Blue Ox's unique chain system and auto-adjust head unit allow you to swap the bars and hitch ball if you need to and immediately move to the other trailer. A nice additional feature is that since you're just storing the bars, if you know your weight is going to go up, you can keep the extra bars in the truck for quick adjustment to a higher tongue weight if needed.
I've included a video overview of the system so you can get more familiar with its features and contents.
