Recommended Drop Shank for Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System
Question:
Hello, i purchased the Curt C17500 WDH a year ago and recently got a new truck that sits 1-2inch higher than my previous truck. Before I start making unnecessary changes to the hitch, is there a certain setting I should change that compensates for the additional height? Thanks!

For the additional truck height and your Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17500, you will simply need to adjust the weight distribution shank setting. If the shank is not able to go low enough to give you a level ride for your trailer, then I recommend the Curt Weight Distribution Shank # 17120 which will allow you an extra 5-3/4 inches of drop from your current shank.
