Will Demco Hijacker Autoslide Fifth Wheel Hitch Fit Standard Above-Bed Rails on 2016 GMC Sierra?

Question:

I have a 2016 GMC Sierra,4 wheeldrive,gas version. I currently have a Reese Manuel,16,slider. Truck has 6.6 bed. The hitch I have are standard rails with the four pin removal system—-will the demco fit my rails. My fifth wheel is a reflection,337.lippert pin box—- will I need a capture or locking plate for pin box? Would this be a good hitch for my purpose.

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550034 will work with industry-standard, above-bed rails which is exactly what it sounds like you have; the Hijacker Autoslide also uses four pins to mount to the rails.

As far as a locking plate that would only be necessary if your Lippert pin box was a Trailair version, which I assume you would have mentioned. For standard Lippert pin boxes you will not need a locking plate with your Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550034.
