Troubleshooting a Tow-Ready Wiring Harness # 118552 on a 2009 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
Hi, I recently ordered and installed this wiring harness. It tested fine and lights worked fine at first, but now when I plug in either of my trailers the rear right tail light on either trailer stays on even when the lights are turned off. I installed this harness on a 2010 Chrystler Town and County. Thanks for any help you can give.

It sounds like you have narrowed the problem down to your 2009 Chrysler Town and Country.
I would check all of the connections that you made when you initially installed this Tow Ready Wiring, part # 118552, and look for any loose, melted or otherwise damaged wires and repair as necessary.
If it appears to be wired correctly, I would use a Circuit Tester # PTW2993 and test the wires that you attached to the box for voltage when the appropriate circuit is in use.
If you find that the voltage going into the box looks good but then coming out of the box its not right something internal with the box may be off.
I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
