Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2017 Infiniti QX70

Question:

I am interested in installing a 2 inch hitch on my 2017 Infiniti QX70...crazy, huh?...Ive seen pics of older FX35s and 45s with an OEM hitch that the blog said was made by Hidden Hitch. Is that available for a 2017? The Draw Site Item # 75699 looks something like it. Id like not to use the Curt as it shows too much. Any suggestion for a hitch that doesnt hand down so low as the Curt? Thanks

There are a pair of trailer hitches that are a confirmed fit for your 2017 Infiniti QX70, the Curt # 13554 and Draw-Tite # 75778, which replaced the Hidden Hitch and is the same style. The truth of the matter is both of these hitches are going to look essentially the same on your Infiniti; if you check out the accompanying sketches from the installation instructions from both hitches you will be able to see that they will wind up in the same position.

Since these hitches are the only fits for a '17 Infiniti QX70 I recommend going with the Draw-Tite # 75778 because it is not going to require the use of stabilizing straps to maintain the warranty when using accessories such as bike racks and cargo carriers the way the Curt will.
