Available Trailer Axle Kits for Utility Trailer
Question:
Looking to replace axle on a small utility trailer. Would like to add brakes to the trailer as well. So I am looking for a complete axle assembly with hubs, brakes, etc. or the parts to build an axle. Would like 48inch spring outside and 72inch overall. Thanks

We offer trailer axles complete with hub/drums and electric brakes, such as # 35545E-ST-89 which is a 3500-lb-rated axle with 89-inch hub face spacing an 74-inch spring center spacing. In your preferred axle size of 72-inches we do offer complete kits with idler hubs (no brake drums or brakes) and these are typically rated for 2000- or 2200-lbs. Note these have a spring center spacing of 58-inches.
All axles, axle kits and all models of the unique Timbren axle-less trailer suspensions are shown on the linked page. You can click on the features and characteristics you want to see products that match. If you click on the 72-inch axle length you will see kits like # 20545I-EZ-72-10 which consists of the 72-inch axle beam, idler hubs with the 5-on-4-1/2 bolt pattern.
You will want to select your axle for the weight capacity of the trailer or to match the original axle.
