Roof Rack Recommendation for 2016 BMW X3 for Carrying Roof Cargo Box and Roof Bike Rack
Question:
Cross Bars for 2016 BMW X3 - intend on using Thule Evolution 1600 box and Thule 518 Echelon bike rack. Do you recommend the Thule Aeroblade or the Yakima Jetstream cross bars? Any rebates or discounts available? What size bars do you recommend? What adapters would be required? Thanks!!!

Helpful Expert Reply:
For fitting a cargo box and a bike rack on the roof of you 2016 BMW X3 I would recommend going with a 60 inch long crossbar roof rack to give you as much room as possible. For that the Yakima JetStream roof rack part numbers # Y00426, # Y00145, and # Y06008 would be what I recommend as this setup is a confirmed fit for your 2016 BMW X3 and comes with 60 inch bars which would work well.
