Since the trailer works perfectly when connected to a different tow vehicle the problem should be on your 2009 Toyota Tundra.
If you have wiring with a converter like the Vehicle Wiring Harness Kit # C59496 you would need to purchase the whole kit as the converters are not sold separately, but I recommend doing some troubleshooting first.
You always want to start off by making sure your tow vehicle connector is clean and free of corrosion and debris. If you use a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 you can then test the 4-Way and the wiring before and after the converter using the probe. If you are getting good signals before the converter but not after then the converter is bad. However, if you are getting bad signal away from the converter then it is most likely your wiring.
Check your ground and make sure that your wiring isn't damaged, exposed, corroded, or bent. Be sure to replace any wires that look bad.
Let me know if you are still having issues and I can help you troubleshoot further.
