I do have a solution for you, but the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Brackets # RP56005 that you referenced are only confirmed to fit a Ford F-250 from 1999-2010.
For your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty Short Bed 4WD you will want the Outboard Brackets # 56017 instead.
You will want to be sure that the Reese rails you are using are the extended length part # 30153 and that you are using replacement hardware # RP56001F. If you do not have the extended length base rails then you can get the whole Outboard kit with part # RP56017-53.
