Trailer Hitch That Fits 2013 Hyundai Elantra Made in Korea

Question:

do you have a hitch that will fit a 2013 Elantra GT made in Korea? i have a dirt bike that weighs 242 pounds, i have a bike carrier for motorcycles that is probly 50 pounds, will a 200 pound tounge weight work or what will work

For your 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT that was made in Korea there is one hitch that fits, the Curt # C11400. This hitch has a 1-1/4 inch receiver with a 200 lb tongue weight and 2,000 lb towing capacity. Please keep in mind this hitch is going to require the use of stabilizing straps # 18050 with all non-trailer accessories such as bike racks and cargo carriers in order to maintain the warranty. I've added a link to a demonstration video for you which shows you how the straps are used.

Your 240 lb dirt bike and 50 lb bike carrier will not work with a hitch that has a 200 lb tongue weight such as the Curt # C11400 because it would put too much stress on the hitch. I took a look at the owner's manual for a '13 Elantra, and it does not recommend towing a trailer so unfortunately there are no products we can offer which will allow you to haul a dirt bike and carrier of that weight.
