Draw-Tite has indicated that the correct ball mount for hitch # 36450 for a 2008 Saturn Vue is # 36061 for use in the rise position only. For a pin and clip, you can use # PC2.

With Class I and II trailer hitches, only the manufacturer recommended ball mount should be used as it has been tested/determined to be the best option for the lower Class hitches and the vehicles they are designed for. Using a different ball mount will void the hitch warranty.

With Class III hitches and above, different ball mounts can be used though there is often a recommended one. For correct rise or drop on a Class III trailer hitch, we have a handy FAQ article that explains how to measure for rise/drop which I have linked for you to view.
