For your 2004 Nissan Pathfinder Armada, you will first need to check your trailer wiring at the vehicle side connection for function. If it doesn't work there, we can focus on the vehicle first and see if the trailer is okay later.
If your trailer connection on your vehicle shows the same issue we start there. It sounds like you have already replaced the relays under the hood from kit # N40975. I've attached the video for your model year and it only requires the two relays as you stated. If the relay has been replaced, then the only thing you can do is trace the wires from the 7-way back to check for function using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. It sounds like you have a wire short and will need to probe the wire insulation every few feet to determine where the short is. Then you will need to replace the wire with # 16-1-1.
If you have power at your trailer connection for these functions on the vehicle side, then we have isolated the issue to your trailer. Most of the time when one function doesn't work, it is a ground issue. Start by making sure your ground connections are bare metal to metal with no rust or corrosion. Once you have determined the ground connections are good, then you will use your circuit tester to search for a short on the wire to your left turn signal and brake. Normally this is a yellow wire, but not always. If the colors don't match, you can determine the correct wire from checking your wiring connector and matching function location. I've attached an article to assist.
