Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancements on a 2017 Ford F-150 for Mild Towing

I have a 2 wheel drive, four door, 2017 Ford F150 twin turbo ecoboost with the max trailer towing package and a fiberglass truck topper on it about 100 pounds. About 3 months out of the year I tow a 33 ft lightweight travel trailer not a 5ht wheel to various campgrounds throughout the US. The rest of the time the truck is used for normal personal driving. The max loaded travel trailer weight is about 7,000. The truck tows great however I have some rear truck sag when the trailer is hooked up I use an equalizer trailer hitch. I looked at your help info. and videos. I see the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit Item # SSA28 is match for this truck. 1.Would you recommend this or something else? 2. I read comments that once installed the truck sits up about 1 inch in the rear, is this typical? 3. When not loaded the helper spring should not impact my ride, it will ride like a factory ride, correct? I like the normal factory ride. I considered air bags but I like the lack of maintenance on the helper springs. Thanks!

Before you seek additional rear suspension enhancements for your 2017 Ford F-150, I would first confirm that the weight distribution system you have is properly rated and installed. In most cases, additional suspension enhancements are not needed to eliminate sag while using a properly rated and installed weight distribution system.

The SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit part # SSA28 are a fit for your truck but I recommend taking a look at the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-116-47 instead. The SuperSprings will more or less be active all the time whereas the SumoSprings will only work when needed. The SumoSprings will only engage when you have a load present and will not affect ride quality while unloaded. They will also not raise the ride height of the vehicle.
