It is very unlikely that the hitch pin hole on your Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver is worn causing the ball mount to slide back and forth. There is usually a little bit of play in the receiver tube opening with a ball mount and this can easily be fixed using an anti-rattle hitch pin like the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 63232. This hitch pin has both anti-rattle and locking capabilities. It comes with everything needed for installation including two keys.

As long as the ball mount you are using does not have a solid shank this this hitch pin lock will work well for you. However, if your ball mount does have a solid shank then you will need to use a sleeve style anti-rattle device like the Gen-Y Anti-Rattle Device part # 325-GH-033.

I have attached a review video of the hitch pin lock/anti-rattle device for you as well. If you can send me a photo of your trailer hitch receivers hitch pin hole I would be able to confirm if deformities are present.
