Installation Differences Between Curt, Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch Models for 2010 Toyota Yaris
Question:
I notice this hitch costs more than Draw-Tite hitch. Is it easier to install? I know some of the comments say the other 2 hitches attachment points have two upper bolt locations that are difficult to get to.

After looking over the installation instructions for both hitches, it appears that installing the Curt Class I receiver, part # 11060 might be a bit easier than the Draw-Tite model. The upper bolt holes for the Draw-Tite will be a bit difficult to reach, and the hitch must be rotated upwards to maneuver it behind the bumper fascia. The Curt receiver simply attaches to the inside of each frame rail.
The install times mentioned all three hitches are identical. If I had to choose, I would go with the less expensive Draw-Tite. If you are not planning to use the hitch for towing a trailer, the Draw-Tite receiver, part # 24819 would be your best bet. You would not be paying for the included ball mount and pin and clip that are not needed.
