Recommended Weight Distribution System for 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L With Tow Package
Question:
Looking for recommendation on a sway control hitch for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L with towing package, Pulling a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS Travel Trailer. Preferably one that prevents sway, not controls sway

The Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS has a dry weight of just 3705 lbs but a GVWR capacity of 7,000 lbs. So for a weight distribution system, I recommend the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control # RP66083. This system is rated for on the low end a total tongue weight of 400 lbs and on the top end a total tongue weight of up to 800 lbs.
The total tongue weight includes the loaded tongue weight of the trailer along with any cargo behind the rear axle of your Jeep. This system is designed to prevent sway before it occurs with the spring bars and dual cams keeping your trailer in line with your vehicle by actively working to stay straight until a turn where the bars are designed to overcome the cam and return to position following the turn.
For a trailer hitch ball, you will want either # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch option or # A-90 for a 2 inch diameter option.
