Between the Yakima HoldUp 2, part # Y02443 and the Sherpa 2.0, part # SH22G, I personally like both, however, they are built around different bikes and uses.

The Yakima HoldUp is a better rack if you have kids bikes, heavier bikes, or could possibly need a 4 bike carrier in the future. The rack is expandable to carry a total of 4 bikes with part # Y02446, or the two out of the base model. The HoldUp is also able to carry bikes with 14 to 29 inch wheels, covering a wide grouping of family bikes. With integrated locks and adjustable wheel cradles, the HoldUp covers a lot of bases for a family of bikes.

The HoldUp does require that you have a Class III or higher hitch on your vehicle, and will not work in 1-1/4 Class I or Class II hitches.

If on the other hand, weight of the rack is a concern, or you know you're only carrying adult bikes, then the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 is a better pick. At 32 pounds, its one of the lightest bikes on the market, and its an extremely easy rack to assemble. Additionally, loading bikes on this rack is exceptionally quick, with oversized cradles to make getting the bikes on the rack easy.

One trouble with the Sherpa 2.0 is if you have bikes with a smaller than 25 inch diameter, you'll need the discontinued part 016-025-00-00 to replace one set of cradles to fit your smaller wheel bike. Beyond that, its an extremely good pick for a wide variety of bikes.

I think you'll end up happier with the Sherpa if you're in a two-bike situation, but if you're possibly going to need more, you'll be happier long term with the HoldUp. I've included video reviews of both racks so you can get an idea of their features and performance.
