I can certainly help you out with connecting the Tekonsha P2, # 90885, to your 2010 Dodge Ram. I suspect that since you have a 3500 Ram, it probably came with a trailer connector.
First, you will need the wiring harness to go from the brake controller to the truck, # 3021-P. I have included a link to the installation instructions for this harness for you to view. If the truck came with a 7-Way, this is the only part you will need to make the electrical connections. You will also probably want to add a mounting bracket and hardware, # P7685.
If the truck came with a 4-Way flat, you would need the above parts and then add a 7-Way. I recommend going ahead and getting the Installation kit, # ETBC7 so you will have all the wire and circuit breakers you will need. However, it would be easiest to sever the blue wire connection from the back of the brake controller harness and hardwire it to the new 7-Way using the included wire.
If the truck did not come with a trailer connector at all, you will need to first add a 4-Way flat, # 119178KIT. You would then need the ETBC7 kit and a circuit tester, # PTW2993. I have included some links that explain the installation of an ETBC7 kit for you to view.
