Recommendation For Replacement Trailer Tires That Are Size 225/75R15
Question:
Hello. I currently purchased a trailer that will be hauling pressure cleaning equipment. The trailer measures 16ft x 6.5ft. It will have a 300 gal water tank and a 200 gal chemical tank along with 4 hose reels and 3 pressure machines. It currently has 225 75 15 but they are truck tires. I would like to know what load range tire I would need. Thanks.

Based on your information, I recommend the Taskmaster Provider ST225/75/R15 Radial Trailer Tire, Item # TR225LRE, because it has a larger load range for your tire size. These radial special trailer tires are designed for heavy loads, handle all weather conditions, and are very durable. They have a maximum load capacity of 2,830-lbs at 80 psi. They are designed with highway travel in mind and have a maximum speed of 81 mph. You will want to check to make sure this is rated high enough for your trailer.
If you want a wheel and tire combo, send me your bolt pattern and I will make a recommendation. For example, Taskmaster has the above Provider with a white mod wheel, Item # A225R645WM, that fits a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.
If you send me more details about your trailer, I can make a specific recommendation. I have attached additional information and videos for you to check out that can also help.
