2008 Saturn VUE towing flat all 4 wheels.

The items needed to tow your 2008 Saturn VUE will include base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, wiring, a braking system, and maybe a high-low hitch adapter.
For your 2008 Saturn VUE, I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Item # 3151-1A because it is designed for your vehicle. It also has twistlock brackets that are virtually invisible and can be removed.
The Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain tow bar, Item # RM-522, is a great choice that fits the Roadmaster XL Base Plate. You will also need safety cables like Item # RM-643.
A good one time set-up lighting kit for your Saturn is the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit Item # RM-15267 that will use your vehicle's tail lights and also includes 7-wire to 6-wire coiled electrical cord. You will need to pull a fuse during towing so I recommend adding the Fuse Bypass, Item # 76511, to make this as easy as flipping a switch.
If you want to keep the lighting systems for your RV and Saturn separate then you will need a Wiring Converter like Item # 118158 and two additional diodes like Item # RM-792. The "separate" option uses your Saturn's brake and turn signals instead of only a combined lighting system connected to the RV. Lights and brakes will work either way and your Saturn will still function as designed when not hooked up to your RV.
For braking, I recommend the SMI Stay-In-Play Braking System, Item # SM99251. It is a great proportional braking system that has a convenient one time set-up. You will need a stop light switch kit like Item # RM-751425 for everything to work.
Finally, you may need a high-low hitch adapter may also be needed to keep your vehicle fairly level while being flat towed. A "safe zone" of 3 inches above or 3 inches below level must be maintained while towing a vehicle. High-low adapters provide necessary rise or drop to get into the "safe zone". I have attached a link to our available selections.
Before towing your 2008 Saturn VUE, check your vehicle owner's manual for suggestions and recommendations.
