Troubleshooting Separated Siding at the Joints of the Trailer

Will this work to seal and hold together the siding at the joint where the back wall and side wall meet but are separated?

The Camco RV Vinyl Trim Insert # CAM25262 will replace your trim and allow you to have a nice molding. It is not intended to seal your walls, but to simply give you the finished look. This trim is intended to slide into existing metal track that is holding the siding in place.

Since your aluminum sides are separating, I recommend using the Installation Kit with Screws and Sealant # 344270KITW to seal the siding from water and also secure it in place with the screws. I recommend removing the current metal trim and reinstalling it with the screws and sealant in this kit. Then you can use the trim insert to give it the nice finished look.
