Comparing Trailer Hitch Receivers for 2018 Toyota RAV4 For Ground Clearance
Question:
I have a 2018 Rav4 - what receiver would sit higher. The Curt C13406 or the Curt C13149. I like the Curt C13406, which looks higher not sure about modifying the fascia on a lease car.

With the Curt trailer hitch receiver # C13149 option for your 2018 Toyota RAV4, the only trimming is on the underbody panel which you also have the option of simply removing. If you are concerned about it being a lease, then I recommend removing it and keeping it in a safe spot so you can remove the hitch and reinstall the panel in tact.
The Curt # C13406 will give you more ground clearance and will require slight modification of the fascia, but it is minimal. It has a nicer look and will give you a little more ground clearance, but you'll have to consider the leased vehicle aspect and the small possibility of an issue there. Each dealer is different in what they allow.
With either option, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118578 for trailer or accessory wiring.
If you will be towing, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 3" Drop, 3-1/2" Rise - 7.5K - Black, # BWTS10035B. This will give you a 2 inch and 1-7/8 inch hitch ball as well as give you adjustability to tow a trailer level by offering the 1 inch height adjustments between a 3 inch drop and 3-1/2 inch rise. This ball mount also offers the ability to hide the ball on the backside when not in use to give you a clean look and save your shins when loading cargo into your trunk. I recommend using a hitch lock like # BX8858 to protect your investment.
