My smart hitch camara adj has lines only not numbers like your instructions say what should I do thanks

The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System part # HM50002 does not directly state how far away the objects are from the vehicle using a numeric value. The distance in which an object is located in relation to your vehicle is instead displayed as a color which references a chart. The red lines on the monitor means the objects are between 0' to 1-1/2' away. The yellow lines on the monitor means the objects are between 1-1/2' to 3-1/2' away and the green lines means the objects are between 3-1/2' to 5-1/2' away. The audible alarms will increase in intensity as you get closer to objects.
