For a trailer hitch receiver confirmed to fit your 2014 Mazda 3, I recommend using the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24914 for hatchback models or part # 24912 for sedan models. Both of the above Draw-Tite Sportframe's are a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening.

I do have an option that will allow you to transport your wheelchair on the back of the vehicle but we do not have any wheelchair lifts at this time. In order to haul your wheelchair around on the vehicle you will want to use a cargo carrier. For a cargo carrier that will work with the 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver on your Mazda 3, I recommend taking a look at the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18145 which has a 48" long x 20" wide base.

Before installing the cargo carrier and wheelchair you will want to check in your owner's manual for the maximum tongue weight allowed for the vehicle. The weight of the above cargo carrier (29 lbs) plus the weight of your wheelchair will need to be below the maximum tongue weight capacity allowed for your vehicle in order for the above option to work for you.

I have attached a review video of the cargo carrier for you to check out.
