Roof Rack Recommendation for 2004 BMW 325xi for Thule Ski Rack
Question:
Moved this rack off of an older BMW X3, and would love to keep this somehow and mount on another car we have. The problem? The other car is a 2004 BMW 325xi without the required side rails though with fixed mounting points. Is there some sort of adapter, kit, swap, whatever available that will enable use? Would hate to toss this, and will be a while before I’m back in VT where someone will inevitably be able to hack something together. Thanks for any hope.

Instead of throwing away the Thule Snowcat part # TH5401 I think you'd be able to sell it used to recoup some of the money as there's no way to install this on a vehicle with a naked roof like your 2004 BMW 325xi.
You could then install the Thule Roof Rack part numbers # TH7602-TH7602 and # THKIT3065 which is a confirmed fit for your vehicle and use a rack like the Thule SnowPack Extender # TH7326 for carrying the skis/boards.
