Tongue Weight Capacity of Draw Tite Trailer Hitch for Tesla Model X
Question:
I have a Tesla Model X. The standard tow hitch has a tongue weight rating of 500lbs. When using a bike rack they only recommend 200lbs. What is the maximum weight limit for this hitch when using a bike rack? Thanks!

The Draw Tite hitch part # 76143 that you referenced has a tongue weight rating of 750 lbs. Based on only the hitch's capacities this in theory could carry a bike rack that weighs 750 lbs. But you also have to consider the tongue weight capacity of the vehicle as well and go by whichever is the lower rating as that's the weakest link.
